Pastor

Barry Chinn was born in San Antonio, Texas. He received his theological training at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth. He owns a small herd of Texas Longhorns, which included two award-winning saddle-trained Longhorn steers. He is married to Winnell, music teacher at Molly Dawson Elementary School. They have two grown children. Cheryl, their daughter, is the Administrator of Cherryville Nursing Home in North Carolina. She has two degrees from Gardner-Webb University and is married to Jeremy Mikell who also grew up in a minister’s home. Aaron, their son, is a senior in electrical engineering at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas.
